Default Odd engine RPM pattern...

Hi all, I was driving the GS yesterday and noticed the RPM gauge moving a lot out of the corner of my eye...eventually, figured out how to replicate it and I wanted to know if it was normal. Car drives perfectly fine except for the gauge bouncing all over the place.

Here's what happens: When you press on the gas, RPM's rise car goes faster. When you left off the gas, RPM's drop, then drop again but bounce back to the initial drop. Its like it bounces for some reason. I've never noticed it before...maybe its normal? I was able to capture it on video:

Thoughts?

Mine does that if it’s on a decline downhill. Especially annoying with cruise control on.

RPM stepper motor issue probably if you aren't getting any communication bus codes.

Yes, it directly drives the needle. There are some posts on other lexus models with similar issues and replacement.
