This must mean they have receivers in each corner and it doesn't care which wheel sensor it receives as long as its on the list of registered devices.
That was my understanding. On older Dodges, they have ID locations 1-4 not specifying where on the truck. I could even put 4 of the same IDs on all 4 wheels to read 1 sensor....
