This mod appears to have some strong opinions.
I started this as a gag for the holidays but now am genuinely curios; why is there so much disdain for underglows?

Some of the most exotic cars have them, would you say the same if on a Lambo?

No strong feelings about it. I just don't really get it. Looks like there's an alien hiding under the car.

 

It just look too FAST and FURIOUS for my taste, our car is a luxury car so maybe I am too old for this type of mods

I would argue against the "nothing original" defense - its too ambiguous. We've all shared an idea, build or a mod that was done by someone first. Sharing is what draws many of us to this forum.

However, I did think I WAS being original in that my car and house lights are pulsating in sync to the Christmas music outside...at least in my neighborhood I am

 

Does no one have christmas lights on their houses? Holiday decorations are always pretty tacky, why is there so much criticism directed at someone who decorates their car along with their house?

lol to me its kiddie like. When I was in middle school and the first Fast and Furious came out I wanted to have all those underbody glows with big spoilers etc. As I aged I saw really only high school kids have those types of mods where they were clearly more for the esthetics of looking like they're race cars but actually do nothing for their specific car. Nowadays to me that's definitely rice but usually just associated with high school kids who did things that they could afford to make it look "cool". But to each their own as long as you like it that's all that matters right?
