Default Radio/ Bluetooth Issues

Bluetooth Audio doesn’t always connect to my phone even after i reset my phone. Has trouble intermittently connecting to my phone for Bluetooth audio and drops off. Also volume intermittently goes silent on Bluetooth audio when volume it is raised to a certain level. Turn car off and then back on seems to correct it.Radio doesn’t have issues. Only with the Bluetooth audio Any possible solutions ?

What type of phone? Did you try another phone or BT player and have the same issue?

Clear the cache on your phone's BT system applications. Had the same issues with my other Toyota based vehicles.

I'm thinking interference... You're not plugging the phone into the USB at the same time, right? And you're not at home, where you also connect your iPhone to other BT devices, right?

No I’m not plugging it in. It occurs anywhere & sometimes it does the same thing with the radio too

Radio too? Do you have ML? Could your amp be dying? Water or moisture in the trunk interfering with the amp?

That is what I’m starting to thinking.....no moisture in the truck. Possible it’s the amp
