Question. On older cars, when the car is running and you have the music on, you would simply turn the engine OFF as the radio stays on on ACC. How does one accomplish this with the start/stop button on a 2013 gs350? Yes I searched....

Id try to jump the fuse to something that would turn off as soon as the door opens but thats a risky move and not the most logical. Plus to be honest im not entirely sure if there is any other electrical component that doesnt shut off when the car turns off except for the interior lights and i wouldnt tap an entire radio Into that.

Turning off the engine while car is in drive, reverse or neutral will allow you to keep radio running in ACC mode. You'd then have to shift into park.

Turn the engine Off and then without stepping on the brake pedal hit the Start button once. The radio/music will come On. It will stay On for about 20 minutes and then shut Off in order to save from draining the battery (in case you have forgotten and left the car and forgot to turn it Off). Just repeat the process every 20 minutes to listen to the radio/music.

One of those little things Toyota continually gets wrong, their programming is a joke. My last 2 cars killed the radio when the driver's door opens.
