Default Loud thudding noise- Help

Hello,

I am getting a loud thudding noise when slowing marking a full turn to reverse/ going forward full turn in very low speeds such as 1-2 mph. It sounds like something is not right. It’s a 2015 GS 350 F sport, stock wheels and suspension.

Any ideas what it could be?

Thank you!

Normal... there a fancy-schmancy technical name for that, it has to do with tire slippage against the ground that results in that "thud" sound.

AWD or RWD? Could be a CV joint going bad, at least I remember that type of issue on older cars, but not sure about the GS.

This happens backing out of my driveway: turning to lock and backing slowly causes the outer front tire to skip or slip.
