Default Valet key question

New forum member here. My wife just perchased a 2014 fsport a few months back. We tried to lock some valuables in the glove box with the balet key the other day and it didn't want to turn. It also seemed like it didn't want to turn for the trunk access. We tried both of our key, none seemed to work. Am I missing something or do I need to get the keys cut agian, if that's possible? Thanx

Do they appear to be cut now?
Are they both the same?
Neither key works in either glove box or trunk?

If you bought the car from a Lexus dealer take it back and have them provide you with valet keys that are cut to match your car. If you bought the car from some other car dealership or independent sales lot, then they may not be willing to take care of the matter.
