Default Best tire setup for 20 inch wheels

Hi guys, I just purchased some vossens for my 2016 Gs f sport rwd.
20x9 in the front +32
20x10 in the back +45 .

i am not lowering the car, just keeping it stock suspension.
i care a lot about a smooth ride and noise etc. I’ve heard so many options on the setup. Like I said all I’m looking for is the best possible ride quality with a decent look. What size and sidewall suggestions etc . Thanks!

Get the biggest sidewall you can then. Because if you match a 20" tire to the same height your 19" was it's going to ride rough. I just put my stock wheels and snow tires on replacing my vossens and it's a noticable difference in ride quality and noise. For what it's worth, I have continentals on both sets of wheels and like them.

245 35 20 is more proportional to 275 30 20 than 235 35 20

If you care a lot about smooth ride and noise then don't go with 20s. That's my recommendation and in fact don't go larger than 18. I'd actually prefer 17s. I think the push for massive rims on virtually all cars is one of the dumbest "innovations" of the last twenty years. Sure, I like the way they look and perform but 95% of drivers don't need a track capable street car. I have 18s on my GS350 and it is a fairly harsh ride and I'm constantly aware of potholes and realize I could destroy a wheel at any moment. I already have at least one bent rim though it's not so bad it sticks out and it functions and balances fine. End rant.

245/35/20 and 285/30/20 keeps the ratio within 1%. probably will need rear fender roll though.
