Question Ebay Lips feedback

So i've been lurking and going back and fourth on the different lips on Ebay and i was wondering hows everyones experience has been so far as in regards to their driving style. I've read many threads on it and read different things on them and my main concern is i have lead foot and curious if

1. Has it come off on you while driving highway speeds?
2. is it worth getting painted (does it glex and crack or does it hold)
3. Which particular brand / vendor did you go with and what was your results thus far.

im looking particularly at the sk style or ikon sk style (looks like sticks out a bit further than the regular sk style)

My SK lip have been on for about 2 years now. I did PlastiDip it when I got it install. It's starting to peel now. Been thinking about getting entire front bumper and lip repainted to match body color. My installer put at least a dozen screws to secure it, it's not going anywhere. I'm constantly scraping it going up my driveway, haven't fall off yet. If you have F Sport the SK replica lip is the most reasonable at ~$60. Only other option is full CF SK lip, which will cost you your left kidney. I picked mine up at a local vendor. They're all the same lip.

Interesting, I'd be interested in the CF lip, but would that (easily) fit on a non Fsport?

1. It hasn’t come off while driving. Hit a few times when going into drive way and garage and it hasn't come loose . It’s been on the car for about 2 years now.
2. I did not bother to get it painted. I have a few friends that are professional painters; they told me the paint would start cracking after a few years.
3. I bought a cheap one from ebay. Nothing fancy or too flashy, as I just wanted a subtle look and for the front to look a little lower. I believe it was $60 or so and paid $25 to get it installed. This one comes with about eight screws so its pretty hard for it to come off. I only put 4 on my car as I did not want so many holes drilled onto the bumper in case I ever decide to take it off.

I have the L-style lip on my non F-Sport. To answer your questions:

1. Has it come off on you while driving highway speeds?
- It has not. It came with quite a few screws that screw directly into the bottom of the bumper. It has held up well over the last 2+ years with no issues.
2. is it worth getting painted (does it glex and crack or does it hold) - I left mine unpainted as I felt it went better with the rear diffuser.
3. Which particular brand / vendor did you go with and what was your results thus far. L-Style lip on eBay sold by BaysonR

Can anyone post pictures or explain how you secured the sides to the bumper? Screws or double sided tape. It looks like the side of the bumper is very thin to put a screw through- part inside the wheel well

Kept forgetting to take pictures. Hope that helps. In the corners they used two screws as you can see.

Those screws should be made of stainless steel so they don't rust and disintegrate. Those screws already look well on their way...

Yeah, I never bothered to look at them until I went to take the picture. I live up North and close to the ocean, salt and snow sure don't help 🤦🏽*♀️. I will look into getting them replaced.

Just a heads up, some of the ebay lips are crap. I bought this one for my 2016 GS, seller extremeonlinestore:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-16-Up-L...53.m1438.l2649

It's a single layer of carbon fiber and nothing else. No additional layers of anything behind the first layer. It should have at least a mm or two of fiberglass to back it. The first time you scrub it a little on a driveway and it will shatter. Be weary of the ebay sellers. I ended up just buying an authentic Lexon.
