Any brands/suggestions for paint to buy? All but decided on the burnt copper. My mechanic had red if I went that, pretty sure he won't have this though.

Links?

The only high temp copper/burnt copper spray is from VHT. I looked for others and could not find it, I kind of wish it was a little more metallic but it looks pretty good.

I also saw this one when I did a quick search, not sure how good it would be for calipers.

.

Yes, one can should be plenty, the rears are a little tricky, if you are leaving the calipers on you may want to de cant a little so you can brush it on in some of the hard to get crevices.

I used about 1 1/2 cans to do mine. So to be safe get 2 cans. Also if you planning on adding decals wait at least a day or more as I messed up one side by rushing to put them on like 2 hrs after and the paint had not cured enough. Ended up having to spray paint on a plate a use a brush to touch up the spots where the paint started lifting when I was placing the decal..I added the high temp clear a week later once the paint had fully cured.

Finally ready to pull the trigger on this, just for thoroughness, does anyone have examples of red GS with red calipers?

I know the consensus is this is played out, but can't say I've ever seen red calipers on a red car.

So, after saying you've never seen red calipers on a red car...now you want to get specific about the details! Does the GS have to have certain wheels or tires on it to qualify?

I'm told that cars are available in different colors in case more help might be needed.

I think his question is valid... none of those cars are the same color as the Matador red of the GS, right?

Matador red and a brighter typical Brembo red brake caliper might clash; would be a good idea to see it in advance. In my head I don't think it would look good, most of those (non-GS) pictured above have close-to-matching colors. I'd go with black or gold.

I believe I said, "does anyone have examples of a red GS with red calipers." 😉
Then I went on to say I've never "seen" a red car with red calipers. You know, with my own eyes. I am aware of Google, but thanks for being so helpful.

But please, continue on being the BC we all come to have known 😁
