Like the 70 rear, because why I would never have a RWD car, I do like knowing I get some of the driving thrills coming out of corners.
Sure thing. This is from the 2013 press release:

An optional electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system can vary front-to-rear torque balance from 50/50 to as much as 30/70, depending on driving conditions, for exceptional control.
Source

It's also in the brochure. Here's an excerpt from the 2017 brochure:

By monitoring current driving conditions, available all-wheel drive automatically allocates engine power between the front and rear wheels from a rear-biased 30/70 (front/rear) torque split to 50/50, depending on conditions. This helps provide enhanced traction and control on a wide range of road surfaces and in inclement weather.

Thanks! I was only looking in the '15 Lexus spec sheet and didn't see it in there. Thanks for confirming!

I will say, the '13 makes it sound like it defaults to a 50/50 split, and the '17 defaults to a 30/70 split.

Yeah, I don't know why they wrote it like that. The brochure description is much more accurate to how it really works.

No doubt, and I just jumped into the rabbit hole here and across the internet reading about AWD on lexus. 30/70 even as far back as 07 it sounds like, so that's good enough for me. I do like the fact I get some RWD thrills. This is my first car that isn't FWD.

Awesome information guys, thanks so much. Just to confirm does the 2015 and 2016 support music via bluetooth from the phone. Also I really enjoy music and i have heard the base audio is wonderful and i have also heard the ML system is quite good. But i have never heard of the ML system in the audio world as a recognized brand. Is the ML system wort the extra search, i see a few of the cars in toronto have them but most of them don't.

In term of the leather interior, does anyone have a 2015-2016 red interior? How is it holding up? Does it ever come off onto clothing on hot summer days?

Last question, i visited Richmond hill dealer today and test drove the car once again. My regular salesperson was away so this new salesperson told me that all 2016+ plus models run of RFT. Now, i couldnt find a rft tag or writing on the tires, i even went online and it confirmed its not RFTS. I really hope i am not crazy as i would hate to deal with RFTs since my last BMW was an expensive nightmare.

Yes, you can stream music via Bluetooth from your phone on both the 15 and 16. As for Mark Levinson, it's a well known brand. I've had it on both of my GSs because I didn't get it on my IS and regretted it, but I do not know how the base audio in the IS compares to the base audio in the GS. It's personal taste, as many like ML and many don't find it worth it. I personally enjoy it.

I do not have the red leather, but haven't seen issues posted on CL about it rubbing off onto your clothes or other real issues.

GS350s come with a spare tire and DO NOT use RFTs. That's for all model years.

I have red interior in my 18 and love it. No issues whatsoever with mine.
