No but it's 95% better. I'm satisfied with the new pads.

I don't think his rotors are OEM. They are slotted and cross drilled I believe.

Yup, I'm running aftermarket StopTech rotors, hence that's why I'm updating this thread only and not your thread to avoid confusing people.

Very happy with this combo so far. If it only squeak a tiny bit now and then, I can live with that.

I had bought rotors and pads last October based on jdpdata's experience and have been meaning to post my results here...

I have these front rotors:
STT-127.44204L
STT-127.44205R

And the pads and shims he recommended:
Pads Set 04465-30540
Shim Kit 04945-30340

They were silent for the first 500mi, but after that, if ambient is cold (as it was where I live from November to March) the brakes will squeal from 5mph-0 when warmed up and will be worse up to 15mph-0 when cold. But once spring rolled around they've been absolutely silent; they won't squeal even under hard braking. So here's another data point for the above shims and pads probably being the best you can get for brake noise with aftermarket rotors. And of course the braking performance is good, at least as good as OEM was, I have had absolutely no problems there.

That was exactly my experience too. When ambient temperature is cold, squeal like a MF. But when warmed up, it barely let out a tiny squeak. I just couldn't deal with the annoying squeal so I sold off the damn car. Kinda miss her sometimes. Oh well, time to move on the bigger and better things. Good luck with the new rotors!

Side note: S+, manual paddle shift. Damn sweet down shift throttle blips from 3-2 is music to my ears with the JoeZ singing. Flew by cop at 50mph in tunnel in 3rd gear. Thank God he's on official business and didn't pull me over 😅
if you ever sell your JOEZ exhaust, let me know, please and thank you!

JoeZ stopped producing these long ago. You're going to have a difficult time sourcing it new. Bear bet is find use from someone in this forum.
