You have a 2015 map version.

You are in the wrong model forum.

Next question?

Seeing as this is your first post, I predict you never return to see this answer.

My guess is that you have a version 14 as the map version is always 1 year behind the model year for Lexus anyway or it always has been in the past.

RandyV...would appear that you are a bit off on both answers so far. The thread is 4th Gen GS 2013 to present and the
OP has a 2015. While a CL noobie may well not know how to even log back in, the question ought to show up in subscribed
threads or close enough to the top of the page to open again (that's how I found my first thread all those years ago!).
And more fundamentally DJWLDW is actually correct, the OEM Map Data is that finalized and published in the fall
of the year and is thus one year previous to the Model Year, 2014 data in a 2015 car in this case. Other than that, you're spot on.

If you re under warranty you might be able to get teh dealer to update your nav. I had a bunch of freezes when using it, took it in and they updated my 2015 navigation maps.

The dealership may update the NAV firmware, but they won't update the map without charging the owner.

Randy you were wrong on two counts.

First, the poster has been a member for over FOUR YEARS. Tons of people join and read the forums without posting; that's OK.

Second, you were absolutely wrong to welcome any member making their first post in this rude fashion. While they did post in the wrong spot (I moved it), that’s not how we treat others in this community and I’ll advise you to read this sticky before posting again (although not in this forum the spirit still applies). https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-gs-forum.html

Please exit this thread.

Rlee, this might not work for your nav but try the below

► To see what your current NAV map information is: Go to Menu > Information > Map (look at the upper portion of the screen)

Thank you for you response. According to that obnoxious, and rude RandyV I am in the wrong forum to ask this question. Sorry for that, but more sorry that there are people like that RandyV on a Lexus forum at all. Thank you again for your response.
And Thank DaveGS4 for setting that rude person straight.
