Default Vinyl Wrap ?

I'm considering getting some items wrapped on my white GS. Does anyone know how long wrap typically lasts? I know it depends on material and installer, but plan on getting it done by someone reputable. Want to do all chrome items, roof and front bumper.

My last car 2010 Honda civic had the trim wraped satin black from the factory, I think that could fade over time, my car didn't have any issues.

You could ceramic coat the vinyl wrap every few years and have it not fade/last indefinatly.

I've being doing vinyl wrap in all my cars for almost 10 years now and not once have I had any issues. The trick is to get a reputable shop that has being doing for a while but also more important get quality vinyl material. I personally like 3M 1080 film series wrap. Very high quality, durable and doens't fade or go bad unlike the cheaper stuff I see other shops use.

I have read that it depends on the quality of the wrap like i know someone who said they have 3m wrap on their car and its going on 7 years and no issues but its always garaged and hand washed so it all depends on the conidtions

The smaller items such as the bumper/chrome pieces will most likely last longer than you own your car, as long as you take general care of everything. The roof should also still last you several years, but since that's a larger piece/area on the car, there are more factors and variables that can affect its lifespan.

If you needed a second opinion on any info local shops to you may be quoting/telling you, feel free to PM or e-mail me at Don@WannabeRacer.com and I'll try to help out.
