It was the dealer installed "pro-trim" and the brake light "Pulse" thing... In other words, things I refused to pay for.

Interesting, I've never heard of those features.

I'd also like to know your impression of the ML? Didn't know if your 15 had it or not. I must say I prefer the standard system in my 14 RX over my 18 GS ML.

Both the 15 and 19 have ML and I have been very, very happy with it. My IS350 had the standard audio and I found it severely lacking, so I have made sure to get ML since. I was also happy with ML in our 2013 RX.

It will show more dirt and dust vs. your AS. You'll just have fun cleaning more often. It's interesting how close that color is to my Caviar. There's a guy here in town that has your same color and I always have to do a double take to see if it's gray or black. It's funny the past several times I've driven mine I always seem to pass him when I'm out. Not many GS's around here.

Yay! Interesting note about the rear seats. I'll check that out later today, never paid attention to it, but I don't really fit in the back of the GS well so I'm too busy craning my neck or slouching to keep my head from rubbing against the headliner to notice much else.

Anyone else with HUD know how to get the tach to display? I am pushing DISP but nothing is happening.

Answering my own question. Found the answer on the GS F forum. LKA has to be off, otherwise it’ll show the lane status instead of the tach.

Here's an interesting observation from the Monroney stickers.

On the 19, it specifically states that the car has VGRS, which I have always understood to be only on RWD F Sports and not available with AWD. VGRS is not called out on the 15's sticker. I'm assuming this is an error, though I am a bit surprised. The steering in the 19 definitely feels different but I need to spend more time with it. Everything else on the sticker appears to be correct.

Does it say VGRS or VDIM? Just making sure.

So much so that I always go back to Sport S or Normal when I pull into a parking lot. I noticed very little difference in the amount of steering assist between modes on the 19.
I loved the heavier steering and firmer suspension on my previous 2015 model F-Sport on Sport+. Wish my 2016 F-Sport had the same ride and handling.

That's definitely a mistake on the window sticker, but the real mistake is that Lexus doesn't allow AWD models to be equipped with some of those goodies that make the F-Sport an F-Sport. This is yet another weird thing they do in how they package and build cars. If anything, AWD should've been a performance-enhancing option on top of the F-Sport package, kind of like how you can add rear-wheel steering & an LSD on top of the F-Sport package. AWD or RWD shouldn't have ever been a factor. Never seen another automaker limit features based on whether or not a car is 2WD or AWD or whether their car has the sport package or not (kind of like how all F-Sports can't get the 18-way seats for not only driver but passenger as well, rear climate controls, side-window shades, etc.)

The fact that they still do this on the new LS, ES, etc. doesn't give me hope for them changing this bizarre strategy of theirs any time soon, but I understand it's a lot more cost-effective for them this way. Still sucks as the consumer but oh well I guess, our cars at their core without all the "fluff" are still great, which is more important, IMO.

Anyway, did you have HUD on your last GS? Curious to hear your thoughts on how it changes the driving experience, this is another feature I would've loved to have on my '18. Also, let us know your thoughts on how the triple beams perform at night & how much of an upgrade they are over the HIDs on your last GS.

Yeah, JDR sent me his VIN and I checked it. It did not say anything about VGRS, so most likely a mistake. or... a prototype lol
