Remote Start - low battery?

I had the exact same issue with my 15 GS. In addition, when I tried the remote start with my key fob I would get a mechanical click but no start. Dealer wanted to just replace the battery and be done with it. I had to explain to them that despite the warning, the battery was not the issue. They tested the battery and agreed. After a bit of coaxing they had their "technology expert" take a look at it. He said that he surfed some "internal" Lexus service tech forum sites and found that he needed to update ENFORM Transceiver. Either way once he did that it worked. This is what he wrote in my service history. PS, still have the original battery in the car without issue.Hope it helps

I just went through this with my 2015 GS. Had the exact same issue and told my dealer about the TSIB L-SB-0002-15 and made an appointment. They updated the telematics and I was out of there in about an hour. Thanks for posting this! Saved me from replacing the battery.
