Yes I know I am late to the show but I just realized and noticed our GS's have the ability to change the startup video sequence and thought that was a neat trick. Hey I finally have something nice to say about an otherwise horrible infotainment system!
Here is a video clip of my current startup and noticed I had a choice between 3 video options.
So my question to the experts out there, can we add or change these startup videos or are we only allowed to set a custom image part of it? If so we can add our own video sequences anyone out there have some new cool clips to share?
My 18 does not have start up videos, only images. I've searched for start up videos to add, but did not find anything. All I can do is add images.
SO if anyone knows how to adjust the start up videos... please share!
I believe we can change it if you just plug in a usb drive with the image. If you do a search you should be able to find something on it. I’ve been wanting to do it too but I haven’t gotten around to figuring out what size it’ll take
I tried uploading a 3 second clip in mp4 format to test it and but don't believe we can change the factory videos already stored on there. I wonder what format, size and resolution they need to be in maybe we can change it but don't have the proper video codec on the USB stick to read it.
