The stock one my car has did not work(89940-30250). The car gave me a warning about headlight leveling system not working.

After I installed 89940-30270 the warning went away and you can see when the car turns on it moved up/down and left/right, like a headlight check.

Did you buy this new or used? Did the used one come from a wrecked car? Based on the description of the part number and my experience it should be the correct one or the unit you purchased is defective from previous accident or something else, idk.

 

Apologies for the typo. The 89940-30270 unit I purchased was indeed used. I hope the item I have is defective and not some other issue. Guess I will have to return and look for another unit. Glad to hear yours work!

They have different part numbers if it is a Japan spec. Same part number is exactly the same as here.

for example hud and some dash piece have a different part number for right hand, but the computer for adaptive headl8ghts is the same part as usa
