Default Rain Sensing Wipers

I have a 2013 GS350 F Sport. RS wipers seem to work ok, but when I use my washers, the wipers don't pulse. I have to turn them on manually to wipe windshield. Also sometimes wipers will not work on low speed until I go to HI speed first. Then sometimes low speed will stop in the middle of windshield, they won't park until I play with the switch? Any Ideas or similar expereiences

I have to hold my windshield washer (on) for a full 2 seconds before the wipers kick in.

Try tightening the nut on the driver side wiper.
