I'm on the same boat as well. I'm debating between this one and the off brand Lexon that's about $20 cheaper. I'm not sure which one would scrape more.. I'm assuming this one though

In the beginning when I first put it on I didn't drill into anything. Just replaced with the screws that were already in place. Yesterday I personally did go back an drill everything into the bumper to close some small gaps that were annoying me. The way I drill them they didn't actually go into the bumper they went into the other plastic we have under our cars. A couple of them I did put into the bumper, but I didn't care because I already had holes drilled into it, plus you wont be able to see them. Again that's me if you don't want to drill I'm sure 3M tape could work as well. It was already secure before I did all that. It just didn't conform to the car completely. I'm very happy with it for what I paid for it, and the painter made it look even better.

Yeah I was reading the forums for awhile. I was tempted to get the carbon fiber one. But at my house and around Kentucky I scrape on dips and my driveway already. So I couldn't pay over a thousand dollars for something I knew was going to be scratched up on the bottom. I think once I put 20's on it I wont scrape as much anymore. This is another reason I don't think I'm lowering her either.
