Brakes have lots of dust. Any product I can buy to use on the wheels to get rid of the dust?
i use sonax full effect. spray on green and then when it reacts with the dust it turns red making it more soluble for removal. you may have to agitate
the wheels with a soft brush if its really caked on.
I Replaced my front pads with Duralast Max(#DGC1686) pads and had the rotors turned back in April of 2016 and I haven't had any noise what so ever. My mechanic also cleaned the brake dust off of everything. The dealer replaced my pads once and I had the same problem so trashed the oem pads and went with the duralast.
so do you recommend me buying the oem rotors and oem brake Pads ??? Because I was about to do the same you did, buy oem rotors and akebono performance brake pads? But you scared me now 😫😫 Please share your experience as of now ! Thanks for your time

For this reason I been meaning to have the dealership do the front rotors and pads. How much do they charge for this?
I use OEM rotors and OEM pads.
I believe the secret to controlling squeal is to have a hydraulic jack with a pair of jack stands to quickly and easily jack the front end up.
Then quickly remove the front wheels with a motorized impact wrench.
Use a Karcher high pressure water spray to clean the brake pads, calipers and inside of the front wheels.
The squeal is gone for 3 months or more.
Often, the front wheels don't have to be removed to clean the pads and calipers with high pressure water spray at all; simply spray through the spokes of the front wheels.
However, occasionally the front wheels must be removed to do a proper cleaning and de-squealing job...
Never had any car where if you use Brake parts cleaner and clean the backing, clips, plates, and pins, then lube them (squeal is almost 99.9% metal). Never ever heard a squeal not stop for ever. If you just clean and lube with new pads.
I always use Synthetic brake lube only.
I used Textar pads; they made the F Sport pads. New rotors. Great bite, but they squealed after a month. Made me mad.
I bought the Lexus TSB pads and shims. Lubed them properly with silicon brake lube.
It has been 2 months or so; no noise. The Textars had better bite, but the noise was horrible in a bueautiul car like the GS.
There is occasionally a tiny squesl 1st thing in the morning but outta the driveway they are quiet.
Truth be told, the squeal does not make snese, but the F Sports are famous for it. Hence the TSB.
