i have 2013 GS350 and when i go to lock the car from the remote nothing happens except i can hear the gas door lock, no loghts, no beep sound. It unlocks just fine. I replaced the battery about a year ago and i can open the car from quite far away, so i don't think its the battery....any thoughts

 

Do the doors lock?

The lights and aural alert can be turned off in the settings, so maybe they were disabled?

To change the settings, you go into Door Lock Settings under Vehicle Customization.

 

no,... the doors do not lock.

Do none of the doors lock? If one door lock actuator is bad, the lights won't flash and the car won't beep. Since the driver door is used most, it is usually the first actuator to go bad.
