I have found the same thing to be honest. 3 is one too few. 5 is one too many. IMHO. 4 would be just about perfect, but in choosing between 3 and 5, I feel better with 5. I'd rather go a bit longer on the blinking, than too short. And just another confirmation that the standard procedure works perfectly on the '16 F Sport.

As to the volume on the blinker, I am shocked at how low the standard volume is. Good to know it is changeable, albeit at the dealer or using carista. I wonder if they have a reason for a making the blinker essentially inaudible by default.

Yup, the blinker volume is adjustable in Carista and I guess the default is pretty low to give you a "luxury" feel... but I don't know, I'm just guessing.

About the number of blinks: I never liked that that feature to begin with, so I always turn it off altogether. But to each his own. That's why Lexus made these settings configurable. Well, some of them anyway

I do prefer a quieter ticking on the blinker than a louder one. The loud ticking reminds me of being on a old yellow school bus or city bus. Things I dont like to hear in a luxury car. IMO

Carista - any update on making the steering wheel tilt away on exit an option to turn off using Carista?
Thanks

No, sorry. We did look at it again and confirmed that it's a very weird setting. But we do have a task internally to implement dealing with such weird settings, so not all hope is lost.

After having the dealership change mine from 3 to 5, I watched a video on here and we did my daughters 2016 IS 200t we just got. Took every bit of 3-5 minutes tops.

This is good stuff. It's weird how the dealership changed my blinker settings on my 2014 GS but not my 2015 GS. I can't wait to update this when I get back to my car after work.

I just reset my blinker from 3 to 7 on my GS200t . I followed the video and it worked perfectly. Thanks!
