Default climate control---lowest temp setting?

Thank you in advance, I am going to buy a 2014 or 2014 F Sport GS this week. Have it narrowed to 2 cars if they are not sold by Tuesday. When you lower the AC or heat setting on the F Sport the temps go down to 65F then to LOW. You cannot set temp at 64, 63, 62, .......... Is this true on the non F Sport too? I would prefer to drive in winter with temp at 60F The 65 setting seemed very warm. Perhaps dealer can override default setting. I know this is a small thing, but it is important enough for me to ask.

Yes, 65°F and then it goes to LOW for both F-Sport and non F-Sport. I personally do not know of a luxury vehicle with digital A/C controls that goes as low as you want.

Most people are comfortable at a temperature higher than you prefer. Maybe you intend to have on many layers of clothing or heavy clothes during your travels. I guess you could always put the temperature on LOW and control the fan speed to make it comfortable for you.

I am still waiting for my GS, neither of the cars I was looking at had a good Carfax. My Infiniti M temp setting goes to 60, and most of my previous Saabs went to 55 degrees. Guess that is just what I am used to. 65 degees is too warm in winter with a coat on, and I am not driving in winter with it off. I wonder if LOW setting has a bottom limit? Still, will not keep from buying a car, but a Carfax with no service history will.
