I apologize if this is a silly question-- Does our car not have a light in the glove compartment? What is that socket looking piece at the top?

If it does, what is the bulb type?

Mine has one. I'm quite sure it's an LED. If I recall correctly it only comes on when the lights are on.

Aha, thanks! I had looked last night and it really seemed like an empty socket. Tonight I turned on the vehicle lights and indeed it is there and works!
