Default A/C Compressor/Blower noise

Has anyone experienced a noisy blower from the engine bay when turning on the A/C? It's kinda a squeaky noise. But when I turn off the A/C, just the fan...it doesn't sound as loud.

How many miles you have ? I'm thinking, maybe your A/C belt is done, and needs to be replaced.

Very unusual to have this problem at 5K. I'd take the car back and let them check.
