What a great safety feature!

How many times are you surrounded by big SUVs when you're backing out of a parking space? You can't see a thing and you inch out hoping not to hit anything (or get hit).

Now I want to replace my wife's 2013 Acura RDX. Great CUV, but didn't have any of the safety features of my '15 GS (e.g., blind spot, parking sensors, cross traffic, etc.).

 

I normally back in to my parking spots for this reason alone, but the first time I pulled straight in and the cross traffic alert went off kinda freaked me out. I didn't know what was going on. I have less reservations about pulling straight in now, although I still try to back in whenever possible.
