bought a 2013 GS350 Luxury Package - Hate
You probably just need to adjust the seats to your liking. With 18-way there's alot of adjustments to make to get everything just right.
I'm 6'4" @ 270 and the seats in my '13 FSport are almost perfect. My only compliant initially was the inability to tilt at the mid back which would have made them perfect; I eventually figured out how to set everything so that I was comfortable even without that last adjustment that you have.
Just spend some time with it and pay particular attention to the lumbar and bottom seat cushion tilt if your back is killing you.

In my opinion it seems that you might have the wrong settings on your seats. For your back to be hurting is one thing, but your legs (which have nothing to do with padding) as well? Seems like you are too far back from the steering wheel. Play around with the settings, remember that the seats have a function that lets you extend the seats, try lowering that to the minimum. How tall are you? Let us help you...or maybe you just don't like the car at all...
Can you take pics of the thin padding on seats?
The mouse is a non issue, you don't use the mouse for 99% of the time you are using the car, at least in my case.
Each to their own I guess, but after test driving a bunch of cars (for a day or two at a time), I thought the seats on the GS F Sport were some of the most comfortable. I've had the car now for a few weeks and I am still playing with them, trying to find the right combination. Good luck!
Just bought a 2013 GS350 Luxury Package with all these leases ending. Like the ride, looks etc.
Hate the navigation, mouse and front seats after actually trying use it while driving more than 30 min. Wish test drives were an hour or probably would have NOT bought the car as trying use the mouse is so distracting with radio functions built into it and seats kill my back.

Give it time and I'm sure things will get easier for you too.
This Bad Experience with a 2013 Lexus GS 350 Raises an Important Question

The Lexus GS is an attractively styled sedan, but I think it's safe to say that most people don't buy it sight-unseen. They take it for a test drive.

Also everyone says these seats are so comfortable. At first they ar on the testdrive were, which was 15 min, but they are the worst ever on drives 45min orlonger. The cushioning feels so thin after 30 min and creating a sore back for me at 45 min legs start hurting.
The seats are probably the worst thing for me on this car. Anyone else has this issue with the seats.
Almost every car I drive weekly has more comfortable seats that don’t hurt my back.
My old 2007 Infiniti M, girlfriends Honda Civic, my company cars Ford Fusion’sand Chevy Malibu’s all seats don’t hurt my back like GS350. It’s like sitting on a wood bench.

I have zero issues with the amount of padding on the seats. Frankly, I am kind of confused about how anyone could think this is an issue. Car seats don't have to be plush and thick and springy like a LaZBoy in order to be comfortable, at least in my experience. And I think the GS amount of padding is good.
Mouse has not been an issue for me. I agree that it is not the most intuitive and can be a little bit distracting when moving, but there is a learning curve and you'll get better. Also, for me, most of the settings controlled by the mouse fall into the category of "set it and forget it," so I'm not messing with the mouse all that much when I'm on the move.
Good luck!
I agree, and I'm very picky about seats. I agree with others that with so many adjustments on the seat that it should be a matter of getting them to your preference. I've sat in many seats that took me several drives to get where I like them. When I was looking at Audis I was very concerned about the seats in the 6/7 series cars, so I test drove them several times and sat in them at the dealers numerous times. It was all about setting them right. After having the A7 for a year now I'm glad I did as I'm very comfortable in them.
I'm in the "I don't get it group" on this. My GS F Sport seats are great and I have driven the car continuously for more than four hours and felt great. I wonder if rwg 21 set the lumbar support too aggressively - I found any increased support very uncomfortable.
I also had my lumbar set too aggressively at one point. One thing that also surprised me was opening up the side bolster support a bit. I liked the feeling of having it in tight, really hugs you when going around turns fast, etc., until I realized that opening it up somehow reduced a little stress on my back.
