Default Upper back pain

I'm tall - 6'2" and every time I drive my GS for a while I get this achey pain in my upper back and shoulders, and sometimes neck. Sometimes it get quite bad. I even have had chest pain (muscular-feeling). I've never heard anyone complain about it so maybe I am doing it wrong. I don't have the luxury seats, just the normal adjustments like back and forward, lumbar.

Sitting in the car feels ok at first but after a while I get the sensation that I can't straighten my back and neck completely and relax. Feels like I am being pulled backwards and reachin for the wheel.

Any pointers?

I keep the wheel pulled all the way back towards me and the seat gently reclined back, with lumbar support at almost none (tried having it noticeable and it felt worse or the same) and the back of seat all the way down.

I get lower back pain after driving for a while. Playing with the lumbar support does help but it makes the seating less comfortable. I can't get 100% comfortable in the GS seat even with this many settings!

Then you can still enjoy the 2 door sporty Lexus's. I am 50, heading towards the LS, started with an IS, now in the GS, lol

I thought maybe I was just crazy. I have the luxury seats. After driving for a long period I will often get some pain just below my right scapula.

Usually making an adjustment to the angle of the back of the seat will temporarily relieve the pain. It seems to come back eventually no matter the seating arrangement, as long as I am driving for a while. Not sure what to do.

I have also noticed that opening up the side bolsters can help. I think I may have had them in too tight originally.

I did not have this problem in my last two cars, in which the seats were not nearly as adjustable.

FWIW I am not old... But having this problem sure makes me feel like it haha.

Cottage: opening the side bolsters? Is that an adjustment on lux seats?

I used to get back pain as well, it was so severe I'd have to pull over and wait it out. I found that when I can feel the pain coming on I adjust the seat so that I'm sitting perfectly straight to the point where is kinda awkward but it does definitely stop the pain.

That's not good Tzakiel, I feel like you already have issues and sitting in the car only aggravating it. I'm not a doctor but I would get your back checked out, maybe an adjustment?

Yes, side bolsters (on seat back) are adjustable with luxury seats. The luxury package has extra adjustments for both driver and passenger in comparison to premium. I believe the Fsport has the same adjustments, but only for the driver seat.

On my trip to NJ, I drove from Minneapolis to Pittsburgh the same day and I was totally comfortable that I did not let my Wife take the wheel. Coming back 3 days later, I drove from NJ to Chicago on the same day and no problems there too. I did not use Cruise at all. In fact, I didn't want to stop in Chicago but keep driving to Minneapolis. I would however rest my right calf/ankle leaning towards the side compartment. I'm 5'10" and 42.
