So I've been interested in buying a GS, but the dealer doesn't have what I want and there is nothing they can dealer trade for in the area that has it either. I would like to load up a GS, but they have a bunch of units that are equipped basically the same way and not the way I would like it equipped.

Anyways, I'd be willing to order one, but by the time it arrives, I think it will be close to the 2016 model year hitting the ground. My question is; when can you typically order for the next model year from the dealer? Thanks for the help!

 

You'll find that once the refresh hits, there will be more higher optioned cars on the lots. Thats how it always seems to be with Lexus. The early adopters will buy the higher packages, and when sales slow as the model gets older they stock the midrange stuff. Hence when I got my 2013 they had lots of lux package GS's, now they are very rare. When the 2016 hits it will be like it was in 2012 again for a while.
