I compared the trade against my payoff amount, and after much negotiating was able to get within $1700 of the payoff amount. Surprisingly, Lexus offered $7000 under the payoff amount, even with the expectation of leasing an RCF.
Lease.
Dude, you are KILLING ME! The F-Type coupe is my dream car. I just haven't been able to lower my expectations (I'm obviously much poorer than you judging by your stable) from what I really want--the F-Type R Coupe with AWD (new for 2015).
Haven't been to the Aliso Viejo one yet... let us know how the new location is.
Will do. If you make it down on Saturday, be sure to say hi.

While the F-Type is a fantastic car, I've read the thread you started about replacing your GS. As you live in snow, I'm not sure the F-Type AWD is the way you want to go. The AWD was introduced as a mandatory drivetrain on the R as it was nearly impossible to put the 550hp down to the road, even in the dry. The AWD is for dry performance, not wet traction (although it will help obviously). The low ride-height of the car would present significant challenges in the snow I would imagine. Although I must admit the exhaust note nearly makes up for all of this...
FYI - AWD was introduced for the 2016 MY, and is not available on 2015 cars. The 2016 cars have not hit the lots yet, but should be available in about two months.
