Apparently my '15 GS base has auto dimming side mirrors, but it's not noticeable at all. Prior cars it was clear it turned blue or green or what have you. I don't see it at all.

I've tried covering the sensor and the interior mirror goes blue but side stay the same.

Any info on this?

I'm a first time lexus owner and club lexus blows other forums out of the water.

I thought the same thing and have had dealer check to make sure everything was working correctly. They tested it and said everything was fine. I think the sensor isn't mounted very well and they make the side mirrors dimming feature very subtle. It also seems to be speed dependent, but I could be wrong. I feel like it works great on the highway, but on local streets it doesn't.

what bothers me is that the side mirrors on 2015s have a bronze tint which messes with the optics when viewed through my tinted windows. I am going to tint my mirrors to work around the issue. You will notice prior years have untinted sideview mirrors.
