I had my Hybrid battery changed out. I was almost at the end of the 8 year warranty. Decided it would be a good thing to get done. Took them a few weeks to get the battery.

Thanks for the compliment lexusGS15! I relocated & changed jobs, so my commute changed drastically since my initial purchase. Initially I was putting somewhere between 12-15K miles per year with a combination of work + driving every other week to see family, but within the last few years I've moved to the same city as my family and my work commute is less than 12 miles. I hardly put miles on the car unless we go on longer road trips.

My vehicle only has close to 50K miles, so I'm no where near a battery replacement. Even within the 8 year warranty time frame (ends in 2021 for me), I doubt that I'll be close enough to take advantage for any battery replacement through Lexus, especially with this COVID stuff and barely going out.

Has anyone had a problem with their Hybrid battery in the 2013 and above model years? I would think the RX 450h would have similar issues if there were any as well.

At only 7 years and looking at the failure modes of the Prius batteries, the most likely problem would be corrosion of the contacts between the individual cells along with the occasional single failed cell in the entire pack. These are in theory user-serviceable and not terribly but I'd be very reluctant to try it.
