Good day fellow GS owners,

I really need some help to determine what kind of PPF was actually applied to my new car.

I paid for Xpel Ultimate, but all my sales documents say they applied 3m product. When I picked up the car I asked about the discrepancy in documentation and was told 3m makes Xpel Ultimate, which from the research I've done is not true.
Not only that they did a hack job of installing the product and scratched my car hood to bout! So I want to have all my ducks in a row when I speak to my dealership about this issue.

3M is not XPEL.
Xpel is XPEL, and 3M is its own company.

For any warranty issues with XPEL the receipt needs to say XPEL.

 

Oh I'm taking it back alright!
I need to know if this is even Xpel, or if it's really 3m film and I was lied to. As it will determine my approach to resolve this issue with Lexus. The scratches they put in the hood also really upsets me.

Actually the whole experience with this dealer has been VERY POOR!
