I leased my '13 ES with a 48 month lease. The dealer actually started calling me about 10 months into my ES lease asking if I wanted to trade in for a '14 ES. I was like naw. Not much benefit to trade when the next model year was exactly the same. Then at about 12 months into my ES lease, they offered to trade me for a '14 GS. So I jumped on it. So when I got the GS, there's like 36 months left on the lease.

They took the ES in as a trade. The ES holds its value very well.

I think you right, still they should have explained to him if its a trade or not. It should also say on the contract that he has a trade

The sales person was new and seemed like she didn't like her job. She actually told me she was going on a job interview soon lol. She also complained about another customer taking too long to buy.

One of the reasons I did 48 months originally is because I was told by two different dealers that I would be getting offered to trade in in a year anyway so I guess it worked out good.

Well I have 48 months too now, so let's see if they're going to offer me to trade after a year too. lol An LS460 with the same payment as my GS would be good too. haha

ahaha Keep on dreaming, I think he over paid for his ES, that is why the payments are the same.

Of course if you payment for GS is near $840/m perhaps LS payments will be the same

I'm at 700 right now. and I heard the LS has no incentives, so no big discounts like the GS.

Yeah LS leases are a big gap from the GS. You can negotiate a huge discount on the price, but the residuals aren't as good, MFs aren't as good and thus the leases aren't as good. If you can get an LS lease in the upper $900s for one MSRP's in the high 70s early 80s (pretty basic AWD) you're doing VERY well.

The LS is what I really want, but when you factor in that you can lease a new GS now for $600 all in, thats a big gap.
