It sucks to have rattles in the car and I hope you get yours resolved. My brake squeaked around 5K and dealer could not figure out what was wrong. It drove me nuts esp. when dealer said everything was fine. Luckily it went away on its own. Now it's 30K on the clock and no rattle at all. I'm very pleased with the car/brand. This is the 3rd Lexus in the family. We recently got the 4th one. Although there are a few things could be built/equipped better for that price range, we're happy with the built quality overall as usual.

A good number of improvements have solved the initial L-Finesse cost cutting and it continues to get better as Lexus elevates itself in the market. 1st place Lexus has 68 problems per 100 vehicles. 2nd place was Mercedes with 104 per 100 vehicles. So yeah..
Numbers don't like, do they? If I'm not happy with Lexus quality, I'm not sure which brand to turn into. Toyota?
Decided to keep the GS a little longer and got the RX for her for now. Stealer wants my left arm if I turn the GS in. GX is most likely the replacement for the GS.
Throughout the last 10 years we have owned around 10-12 lexus models ranging from GX to LX, IS - ISF, GS - LS never had any sound issues in any of our rides... and no we arent deaf
My 2011 Camry SE V6 drives and handles pretty good for what it is, the 2GR in it has quite a kick but too bad it's sending power to the wrong wheels. But the GS is worlds different in all aspect.
Nothing personal () but judging the GX base on experience from a 4Runner is no different from judging the GS base on experience from a Camry.
I'm hoping it wouldn't be personal.
Also I wasn't judging/comparing ththe GX and 4Runner. I admit I used a poor choice of words and only brought up the 4Runner just because it was on my mind, hardly related to the topic I suppose. But no, I'm not one of those schmucks that does aweful vehicle comparisons. I just think the GX is ugly.
Its more like judging the ES based on one's experience with the Camry. The 4Runner and GX do share platform parts, the Camry and GS share nothing.
Thank you, I can't help but to picture the 4Runner we don't like when I hear about a more expensive one, the GX. Although I'm sure the GX drives better it by no means looks better!
