Same here. Lexol doesn't feel like it leaves residue behind and blasts the jean dye off my seats. Cabernet owner here. Got the creases a bit but no big deal, as long as they're clean.

It shouldn't need serious cleaning, but spot cleaning any carpet/upholstery cleaner.

I took it to a full service car wash today and out of all the places I feared the most, the guy managed to put a stain on my headliner.

I used some Oxiclean then some clean water and it got rid of the stain. Good thing it worked!

I'm washing this car myself from now on. lol

Yeah, nobody washes this car but me. With Obsidian and Cabernet, there are too many risks there.

Update:

I was so impressed with modthispny's 25k interior I purchased Meguiars QID and Leather Masters cleaner, conditioner and dye transfer thingy. My cabernet interior is only at 2.8k but I was starting to see creases in it and the dye from my dark jeans was clearly showing on my front driver's seat.

I took advantage of the long weekend and started w/ the dye transfer on my front seats. Instructions suggest I test it on a non-visible area, but since others in here have used it so I was like "***** it" and just started wiping it everywhere. (Life on the edge, LOL) Immediate results.

I finished the job and am really happy w/ the product and results. The dye is totally gone and the creases are clearly less visible.

Thanks again for sharing!

Dang... Wash hands before driving? Looks really nice. Yes, start from day 1 is the key. Mine is a lease and I just passed the 25K mark too. Nothing smells better than the new car smell. I'm gonna try to hang on to this as long as possible.
