you have to have a Bluetooth OBDII dongle combined with the app. All the info is on the Carista website.

Quote: Are you talking about when locking with a FOB or by placing your hand on the door?

Because if you are talking about locking by hand, it doesn't matter if the selected Left or Right mirror. mine is never selected, just AUTO and it does folds them when I Lock it with my hand, but if I lock it from the INSIDE, (I click on the Lock button on the door) then it wont Fold.
I stand corrected. I was confused, fit is the tilt down when in reverse that requires either right or left to be selected.

Quote: Yup, it's an app that can change Lexus settings, but it's only for Android for now. We just started working on an iOS version.
So I buy an Android device, Dongle and then $22.xx for the app so I can get those mirrors to fold when I turn off the car.
Fire up the app and changed a few things like the seatbelt warning. So far so good. Change the mirrors to fold with ignition vs door lock.

Nothing happens The app shows fold on ignition. But it's not happening.

Appears this app doesn't work on my 2014 GS, as far as the mirrors are concerned

Anyone else been able to change this setting via Carista ?

Silly man.
The mirrors need to be in Auto for either the lock doors or on ignition setting to work!

I'm a happy camper now as my mirrors fold when I shut off the car!!
No need to lock the car while parked in my garage anymore.

Very handy app!

Now if only I could get the glove box light to come on without the headlights being on. Seems like a silly setup to me. Often need to see in the glovebox when the headlights are off, why tie it to the headlights ?

Complaining, me

There is just something elegant about shutting the car down and having the mirrors fold all by themselves

Parked my GS on the street this morning. Folded the mirror in when I closed the door. I survived

Should be on the drivers side door with the mirror controls.
