This morning in my garage while putting on my shoes to go to work, I heard a winding noise. I thought it was the neighbor putting air or something on his tires so I go outside but there was nothing going on. I went back inside and sure enough it was coming from my wife's 2014 GS350 we just picked up a month ago. I pop the trunk and it smelled like something was burning not strong but there's definitely a hint of it mixed with the new car smell. I check under the car and you can hear the noise, like some kind of motor or pump was running. It was prolly running all night when we got home. The car was completely shut off and locked when it got home last night. I started it back up and everything works after turning it off the noise is gone. now I don't know how to prove it to the dealership if it does it again ill take a video.

Wanted to see if anyone else in here had experience the same issue before I take it back to Lexus.

It's 100% normal. I forgot exactly what it it called but it has to do with a fuel vapor expulsion system. There are a few threads on the topic.
