Default Is this a good deal??

Interested in a 2013 GS 350 RWD, Demo, 7,000 miles, NAV, Prem. Pkg. MSRP $53K, plus a little more for the rock shield film, window tint, etc. Since its a Demo I didn't see that extra list of options. So probably $55K. Anyway, the dealer offered $46K out the door.
Is this a good deal?? I don't think so. It's a Demo with 7,000 miles already and doesn't have luxury package! And I have a $4K trade-in. I think I should keep looking.

Post the sale price before taxes and exclude your trade.

I found a 13 fsport demo with 4k miles. Msrp was over 58k and had them down to $45,800 before ttl. This was in Texas.

You should be paying atleast 20% under sticker before ttl for a demo model.

Thank you very much!!

MSRP $55K minus $4K for trade in = $51K
20% of $51K = 10,200
So... the offer should be more around $41K + ttl?

$55k msrp
$11k discount at 20%
$44k before trade and ttl
$4k trade
$40k sale price before ttl

Dealers will play games with your trade so get them to agree to a price without your trade. Sometimes they'll sale the new car for less but also give you less for your trade. It's all a game, but at the end of the day 20% off a 13 gs350 is very normal.

I agree with the trade-in issue. I usually sell my used vehicles outright, but even if I am considering trading it in, I will get my pricing without consideration of the car I will be getting rid of. Makes it a TON easier to figure out how much you are paying for the vehicle!!

hrozear - I just took delivery last week of virtually the same car you describe.....

2013 GS RWD Demo, no Luxury package, no F sport package - Nav, Premium package, 6500 miles

It was purchased on the last day of the December promotion which gave me two $750 rebates. After the rebates and all negotiating (but before TTL) I paid $42.8K. That should give you some reference to go by.

Also, know that demo cars are usually driven like rentals. I drive mine like I stole them
