I guess my update on my Garmin wasn't complete when it said so at about 15 minutes. I will do it again to see if I can make it last longer.

If you installed the automotive City Navigator North America NT map update (or just the lower 48 states), then you did NOT install it to your Garmin in just 15 minutes...or any time even remotely close to 15 minutes. It absolutely did not happen...

The first gen I drive worked better for me

Yes indeed. My old Lexus is200 had far better voice command functionality and logics. My 2019 IS300H literally sucks in comparison. Nothing works fine and nothing has a logic.
