The GS-F will feature a new blue color, far more exotic than USB. Expected release in 2015. The recent GS-F renderings from JDM magazine are probably a 90% representation of what it will look like once released. Also, the new seats are mind blowing, to be vague. Quite unexpected from Lexus. Does GSF has 8-speed automatic?

 

i work at a lexus dealer, and last time i talked to our corporate rep (which was about 6-8 months ago) about the GS-F he told me that they had no plans for a GS-F and it was all a rumor, i hope not (like i said 6-8 months ago)

an 8 speed trans would make sense, considering the 2014 IS350 F-Sport RWD comes with the IS-F 8 speed trans.

 

They also said no 8 speed for the '14 GS F sport. So take anything your reps tell you with a grain of salt. If they spilled every detail someone asked them there would be no product unveilings as everyone would already know what's coming.

This car is a reality. Just a matter of when and not if. Too many mules and variants between this and the 2 door variant for them to be just "testing" the idea. And they know they have a market for it too. They simply don't want to hint at it and cost them potential sales on product now.

The black & white camo'd coupe you spotted was the 2015 RC-F..

It just got back from NOLA Motorsports Park, where it was spotted testing during the Lexus International Dealer Meeting..!!

8speed auto is not sufficient....Lexus needs a DCT for the F cars. But at this point i guess we should be happy that the car is a reality.

 

Can u confirm the TRD bodykit add ons are just for the test mule?
The real GS F hopefully will have full bumpers and better integrated exhaust.

 

Guys I've pruned a few rude personal comments. Let's not go down that path here or in future threads...getting really tired of the constant callouts and will have to start removing access to each of the forums where they occur for the repeat offenders.

 

Lexus is working on bringing TRD accessories to the US in a few years from now.
