Default Know how to access overhead console?

Has anyone had any experience taking the cover off the overhead console for the 2013 GS 350?

I want to hard wire my Valentine One radar detector. I was thinking of wiring it into the sunroof circuit since power is not "on" when ignition if off and it's really close to the visor.

The cover doesn't have any visible fasteners, so I assume it snaps on, but I'm afraid to go yanking on it if there is something hidden.

Thanks
Steve

Steve there are some excellent write ups regarding the methods and procedures to do exactly that. You could search for hardwire or radar detector or almost any combination but you'll find some good stuff. Here's a link to one of several
