$400 is a lot for just the protectant on the windshield...

Smart move on canceling Safelite jam, let us know what the dealer says.

Success! - had the windshield replaced today. So far, so good, but...I haven't driven her yet.

Used a local guy whose online reviews were stellar and the Bimmer and Audi forums recommended. He's been doing it for 40 years and really took his time to do a quality job. I watched him do the entire job - 2.5 hrs.

For the Boston owners, I recommend Don Cotton of the Village Glassmith for windshield replacement.
