Makes you wonder doesn't it lol? Our cars have LED bulbs in a lot of places(the entire interior), but they use halogen bulbs in a lot of other places too. I guess they figured that it would save money to put halogen bulbs in places where they figured your average person wouldn't notice it. I suppose it saves them a good chunk money.
