And then there's the type that buys the car for what it is and then complain that it's 0-60 is too slow... even though the specs were there from the beginning. *shrug*.

Quote: I got to just give my $0.02 here and say that I don't believe anyone here is actually comparing a $60,000 Lexus with a $25,000 Honda.

What's being said is that for my needs as a basic daily driver the Honda Accord has a few options in its price range that might make me feel a little more at home coming from the Lexus GS.

However, I'm not buying the Honda Accord as a replacement to my GS. I'm buying it so I can have a decent daily driver I'm not concerned about and give all my enthusiast behaviors to my third bay stable mate the new Corvette Stingray!

I think people here are getting way too offended and there's simply no need to.

Hope that clears things up a bit!
Nicely stated.

In the meantime, the Accord will serve you fine while you fulfill your current obligations. Congrats on your new potential addition and happy motoring.

Quote: For an every day average car, I just don't see how you could go wrong? It's stylish, economical, and fun...as I ordered the Sport Manual!

Plus less worrying about daily driving and all the issues that go along with it.
I just bought a 2013 Accord Sport 6MT for a second car. The gas mileage is incredible and it's a kick in pants to drive. I got the Modern Steel Metallic color.

Looks like we have the same car color except we chose different colors.

Of course with the 6MT, there are only our choices in color anyways! LOL!

Gotta love that gas mileage and at the same time a fun to drive daily driver...it's a win/win!

The Accords really are fantastic cars. If it came in AWD, I'd be all over it.

The new accord is a great looking car. Much better than anything else in its class IMO.

It was not a comparison between the GS350 and the Accord, my Accord was purchased as a second car. The Accord is very well made and worth the money, pays for itself in fuel savings. .
