keep an eye out on that and let us know if anything develops. I may go with the similiar spec and shave the quarter to run wider tires in the rear. The car looks very nice, I can't wait until I can properly go low (camber kit).

I really like these wheels and I'm thinking of getting them. I think a step lip would actually look better on my black car. I like to see more 'shiny wheels' since a black car is so dark already. I'm not planning to drop as aggressively maybe just an inch all around with Tanabe.

Now I'm also trying to decide how wide to go with the wheels. I like to run 245/35 and 275/30 rear. Would you still recommend those same offset or should I go with +40 in the back. Most guys here go +45 in the back.

I also notice you currently have 245/30 in the front. I wonder if your wheel would rub when you get 245/35. So keep us informed.

Finally if I go with 8.5 or 9 in in the front to save some weight, will I lose some of that lip or 'concaveness' in the front? I know you said you wished you had more lips up front and you have 9.5. Same with the rear, 10 would fit fine but will the rims not look as good as 10.5?

I'm guessing that the GS can take more tire in the back using a custom three piece wheel. The only way to know for sure is for someone with aftermarket wheels on a lowered car (like Calvin! ) to see what clearance is still available.

I managed to get 10" wheels with 285 tires on my G35 while keeping factory alignment and no fender shaving/rolling. My optimistic goal for the GS is 295 or 305 on an 11" wheel.

I tend to agree with this. I've seen some overly modded Lexus esps. LS. But I guess everyone has different taste.
Thanks man, well I like the car as is right now, but the WALD kit doesn't really make it look too "extreme" and plus IDK if you guys think so but I personally feel like the front bumper is missing a lip or something =) haha. I think it would look better with some type of lip, to me it doesn't seem complete >_<.

I think if you went +35 like me with 275/30 in the rear. You will be fine, I'm running 285 and it's only BARELY rubbing. So with 275 I should be fine without having any rub issues at all.

Well, right now witha 9.5 +35 in the front, I hardly really have much of a lip with the step lip compared to the rear, but I don't think if you went smaller it would mess with the concaveness in the front, more of the lip only. I actually think 10.5 in the rear is PERFECT, but if you want 10 should be fine as well, I only tried 10.5 because I know a lot on here have been running 10.5 mainly and it looks great to me so that's why I decided to go with 10.5 xP

Haha that looks great!!
I don't think you'll be able to do that with the GS unless there are camber kits out xP

So envious of the fact that you guys can drop your cars with no problems. Cal your drop with the wheels is on the money, and yes IMO I think the GS is missing something in front... A LIP... From where the fogs belong to the curve of the air dam.

Haha, yeah the front is missing a lip, ESPECIALLY where the fogs are suppose to be. I'm trying to decide on lip right now. I'm thinking of just getting a front lip as for now, maybe skipper think design or wald. if i go wald ill finish the kit later on.

What tire brand did you order?

Let us know how the new tires fit.

Nice!!! Those r the tires I'm running on my vossens cv3s 20s, same front but my rear is 285/30/20, they ride very well, I put about 20k miles on them already and the tread is barely worn down, great tires, not loud and rides smooth!! Ull like them!! They last a long time!!!

Hmm for some reason I'm rubbing so much with 275 compared to my previous 285 LOL. IDK what's gonig on. I had to shave the rear more, It's not rubbing as much anymore except on turns on the right side.

Getting really confusing now.

You're running 9.5 +35 front lowered and you're not rubbing. Someone else runs 8.5 +35 front at stock height and they ARE rubbing.

You're running 10.5 +35 rear and you're rubbing. They are running 8.5 +35 rear and they are rubbing despite both being Work wheels.

I guess at least for Work wheels. It would be ok to run up to 9.5 +35 on the front. But rear 10.5 should be at least +45 for the hope of not rubbing.

What's a guy to do!? Are there any setup that are not rubbing besides OEM forged F sport wheels?
