Don't blame you a bit. When I was looking for mine, neither Lexus dealer in the immediate area had the color combo I wanted with the options I wanted...They had to look throughout the Eastern region to find it, and had it shipped from NC. I guess fully loaded Luxe black on black are not popular in FL!

The hoops you had to jump through to get what you wanted will be worth it - You will love the car!

I'd like to know too. I put f-sport cast wheels on mine when I picked it up. Cost me two grand but it was worth it. I just don't care for the wheels in the lux. Pkg.

They wanted $1900 told them they were crazy ended up negotiating $850 including remote start thought that was very fair

Mine had the tires mounted so I don't feel quite as bad. Heck the tires are $300 - $350 at tire rack. Come to think of it you will get the tires too.

If you go to the GS page under colors you can get a preview of the different interior/exterior colors. You can also look at the different rims. Before you could see the 19" forge rims but it seems lexus took it down and its also not listed under the F sport accessories. They lexus stop making/selling them?

Apparently my order is on a boat.
Assuming it takes 2 weeks to get to California, then another 1-2 week train ride.... I'm on the tail end of the 2013 production.
When the heck are the '14s coming out? Should I wait?

Considering you'll get delivery in May,I'd wait even though the cost may be more but it is a '14.
You can probably order a '14 in June for a Sept/Oct delivery if you want to wait.
Or maybe you can try and get a bigger discount on the '13.

my special order was due in July, they are still taking 2013 orders. Dealer told me sept oct for 2014, I though July was really late for a car that was ordered in January

My car has finally been built and shipped.. the dealer gave me the vessel details ..shipped 04/02 and expected to arrive in NY the last week of April.. he thinks he can flag the car as "Hot " (not sure what that means) but that would speed things up a bit after it reaches port... at this point , the best case is an End of April delivery and worst case would be first week of May. ( Total time from order to delivery would be around four and a half months).. I am hoping that car will be worth the wait. Will post some pics in a separate thread once I have the car.
