don't do this at home,,, ever. i would never attempt this unless it was a test car. i also think they have more than one layer of Hard Body on that car.
Syd: Your car looks AMAZING! How many coats did you do? I've read other forums where it's a PITA to get the residue off, by hand. Did you have to spend a lot of time to get the residue off? What was the total time from start to finish, applying and buffing off? Thanks!

I used one coat yesterday. That's all I had time for because the instructions say to let the first application cure for three hours. I'll add a second coat sometime today.
It wasn't too hard to remove the residue by hand for me. Fifteen minutes after applying it, it's to be removed with microfiber. Not too difficult. Maybe If I had waited longer to remove the residue, it might have been harder to remove...I don't know.
I'm definitely NOT going to try the scratch test though.
How's your car look? We have the same color, so I'm anxious to see if it's worth my time. I currently use Zaino products, but would switch to this stuff if it makes it pop even more.
I guess I wasn't clear on what that guy was trying to do to his paint. He was definitely marking the paint up, so when the film ended without showing how easy those marks come off, I was confused.

I think it looks great after one coat, but I want to add another.
Here's an iPhone pic. Not the best, but I have to run out. Going to my office to sign my retirement papers!

what's good True,,, Phil@ Detailers Domain applied 2 coats. he corrected the paint and then applied the HB. i applied 1 more coat this morning. do not put to much,,, a few drops per panel maybe a couple extra for the hood on a foam or microfiber app pad. 15 minutes later buff off with a MF towel and you're done. if you want wait 3 hrs. and apply one more coat (one more coat is suggested for even coverage). once you're done put on your shades and enjoy the shine.
