Has anyone with the radar function for cruise control had any issues with the cruise control abruptly cutting off while in cruise control? Yesterday on a several hour trip on the highway, the cruise would just shut off a warning message would pop up saying that cruise was no longer available. Once the warning went away after 10 seconds, cruise was available but the speed had to be reset. This happened three times over an hour early in the trip and then was fine the rest of the day.

 

Was it raining, or did you use your windshield washer? I had radar cruise on my last car and it shut down f the car detected rain, since it was unreliable in the rain.

 

Just looked in the manual (perhaps I should have done that first...) and it was because the auto wipers went on high speed. Apparently some rain is ok, but not a lot of rain.
